Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering & Industrial Facilities Manager

Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering & Industrial Facilities Manager to lead operations at our new facility.
In this dual-role position you will oversee both manufacturing engineering and maintenance/facilities management with a focus on optimizing production processes maintaining equipment and infrastructure and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive manufacturing and facilities leadership particularly in powertrain and electric vehicle systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Engineering
Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing and controls engineers and technicians.
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency quality and cost.
Collaborate with design quality and production teams on product launches and process integration.
Analyze production data (yield cycle time scrap equipment uptime) and drive improvements.
Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methods to optimize operations.
Oversee installation commissioning and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
Facilities and Maintenance Management
Lead maintenance and facilities teams to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for production and building systems.
Oversee facility infrastructure including utilities HVAC lighting and building systems.
Ensure compliance with safety environmental and regulatory standards.
Manage facility upgrades expansions and vendor/contractor coordination.
Implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
Maintain and regularly review emergency preparedness procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (Masters preferred).
8 years of experience leading manufacturing engineering and/or facilities teams in the automotive industry.
Background in powertrain or electric vehicle component manufacturing preferred.
Experience in facilities management maintenance programs and compliance oversight.
Proficient in lean manufacturing Six Sigma and process optimization.
Skilled in project management and cross-functional team leadership.
Proficiency in CAD manufacturing software and facilities management systems.
Knowledge of quality safety and environmental standards.
Excellent analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
