Position Summary:
The quality control specialist is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness safety and customer satisfaction across multiple janitorial job sites. This position involves daily travel between client locations to conduct inspections meet with clients and ensure that all services provided meet company and contractual expectations. The QCS serves as the link between management clients and cleaning staff and is expected to provide feedback correct deficiencies and coordinate timely completion of any and all work orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and consistency of janitorial services
- Meet with clients to review satisfaction address concerns and document follow-up actions
- Create and communicate inspection reports to document deficiencies and corrective actions
- Train and coach janitorial staff on cleaning techniques safety protocols and company standards
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of work orders and special project requests
- Monitor supplies equipment and staffing levels to maintain operational efficiency
- Support scheduling and coverage adjustments across multiple sites as needed
- Collaborate with operations and account management teams to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in janitorial services facilities management or quality assurance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify service deficiencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and mobile inspection tools
- Ability to travel daily between job sites within the White Plains area
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings or weekends
