Job Summary

Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist (Outpatient Rehab)

Location: Fort Myers FL 33912

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: MondayFriday 8-Hour Days (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Pay Rate: $2333 Weekly Gross

Radius Rule: Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist to join an outpatient rehabilitation setting in Fort Myers Florida. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality rehabilitative care helping patients restore mobility improve function and enhance overall quality of life. This role requires a strong clinical background excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate plan and implement individualized treatment programs for patients with physical impairments or functional limitations.
Provide hands-on therapy to improve mobility strength and balance.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and families on exercises safety techniques and at-home rehabilitation strategies.
Document all patient interactions and treatment details accurately in the Epic EMR system.
Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Collaborate with physicians occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications:

Required:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
Active Florida Physical Therapy License (current and in good standing).
BLS Certification (AHA).
Epic EMR experience (1 year minimum).

Preferred:

Prior experience in a travel or contract therapy role.
Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
