Overview
Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company who focuses on designing building securing and operating cutting-edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organizations. We are curretnly seeking a Junior Help Desk to support one of our contracts.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years experience in Helpdesk/Desktop support
- Providing first and second-level technical support to end-users for desktops laptops and related hardware/software.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues with operating systems applications (especially Office 365) and network connectivity.
- Managing user accounts and permissions using Active Directory.
- Configuring and deploying new hardware and software.
- Performing system maintenance updates and migrations.
- Documenting support requests solutions and incidents.
Desired Qualifications
- Operating Systems: Deep knowledge of Windows and potentially Mac OS.
- Networking: General understanding of concepts like IP routing DNS and common network hardware (routers switches).
- Microsoft Ecosystem: Expertise in Office 365 Active Directory Group Policy and Outlook.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with patience empathy and the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Independence: Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks without constant supervision.
