Job Title: Endodontic Dental Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endodontic Dental Assistant to support root canal and related endodontic this role you will assist the endodontist during treatments ensure smooth clinical operations and provide outstanding care and comfort to patients throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are properly sterilized.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.
Assist the endodontist during root canal and related procedures (e.g. suctioning irrigation passing instruments).
Take and process dental radiographs/CBCT scans review medical and dental histories and document accurate treatment notes.
Educate and support patients before during and after procedures including delivering clear post-operative instructions.
Collaborate with the front office for scheduling referrals and follow-up communication with patients and referring offices.
Manage supplies and equipment including ordering and maintaining endodontic materials.
Ensure compliance with OSHA HIPAA and other regulatory standards while promoting a positive and professional team environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as an Endodontic Dental Assistant or similar dental assisting role.
Strong knowledge of endodontic procedures instruments and patient care.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Preferred:
Familiarity with dental software and electronic charting systems.
Education:
Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or
Minimum of one year of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant.
Certifications & Licensure:
CPR Certification (current).
X-ray Certification (state-recognized).
Certified Dental Assistant (DANB) preferred.
