HSE Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment while ensuring compliance with local and international HSE regulations.

• Develop implement and monitor HSE policies procedures and programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Lead incident investigations analyze root causes and develop preventive measures to avoid future occurrences
• Provide HSE training and education to employees at all levels of the organization
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian HSE regulations and international standards
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation reports and statistics for management review
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate HSE considerations into all aspects of operations
• Manage and implement environmental management systems to minimize the organizations environmental impact
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends to continuously improve the organizations HSE performance

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in an HSE role preferably in a similar industry
• Relevant HSE certifications (e.g. NEBOSH OSHA)
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards particularly those applicable in Saudi Arabia
• Proven experience in risk assessment incident investigation and safety management systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively train and educate employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HSE management software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
