Designer Civil 3D BIM Modeler

Roles and responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models for underground utility networks using Autodesk Civil 3D. Model wet and dry utilities including storm drainage sanitary sewers water distribution gas and telecom.
• Generate plan profile and cross-section drawings for construction and regulatory approvals. Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts using tools like Navisworks.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate representation of existing and proposed conditions. Maintain model integrity and ensure as-built conditions are accurately reflected.
• Work within multi-user environments using cloud platforms (ACC ProjectWise).
• Customize object styles label styles pipe network styles and configure part lists as per project requirements. Support data management through shortcuts and drawing references.

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Experience: .

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering Civil Technology or a related field.
• 35 years of experience in Civil 3D utility modeling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Navisworks.
• Experience with ACC BIM 360 or ProjectWise.
• Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards and construction documentation.
