This is an excellent opportunity to join the Finance Franchise Operation Europe & North Africa (ENA) team to contribute to the strong growth of this key activity for the Accor group and to the transformation of its business model.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing detailed financial analysis and supports to operation teams and Finance teams for the decision-making process at corporate level for Franchise operation business model. Reporting to the VP Finance Franchise Operations Europe & North Africa the person will be a business partner with key stakeholders to support the day-to-day business through change and transformation to aid future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the maintenance of a system of accounts under USALI compliance and controls which will provide the data from franchised hotels for all required reports.
- Production of franchised hotels KPI reports and performance analysis to support franchise
operation and finance management teams.
- Ensure the valuation of exceptional billings (network exits various bonuses) in coordination with accounting.
- Responsible of an effective control of KPIs and variance analysis across dedicated scopes
- Production of financial analysis data trends and market information to anticipate needs identifies operating/financial issues and recommends actions to maximize financial return.
- Assist ongoing decision making of Operation / Finance teams by producing effective interpretation of reports highlighting meaningful variations in performance.
- Provide support to hotels and other internal support teams in terms of franchise operation.
- Manages the monthly forecasting cycle for franchised hotels based on inputs from Commercial Operations and FP&A teams with the objective of improving forecast accuracy.
- Support change and transformation within the business model to guide to efficient process with operative outcome.
- Assist in compliance audits and monitor internal controls to ensure that policy process and procedures are in place.
Qualifications :
- Accounting / Finance qualifications are required. (ACCA CIMA or CPA etc.)
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in accounting finance or business administration (e.g. Master CCA école de commerce université)
- Fluent in French and English
- a minimum of 5 years experience in an international audit firm or within the finance department of a multinational company
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
