Job Summary
- Load and unloads materials onto pallets trays racks and shelves by hand
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area using hand truck electric dolly or other device
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases bales or other containers
- Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together using banding machine and clincher May occasionally use automated equipment and/or operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
- Builds pallets and applies all necessary paperwork to the pallet and moves pallet to a shipping staging area.
- Performs off line tasks as needed (floorwork cleaning trays giving breaks fixing packing errors)
- Other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for training and supporting new and existing team members.
Qualifications :
- Should be able to stand up to eight hours.
- Organizational skills.
- Basic skill in the use of shrink-wrap or strapping equipment manual dollies pallet jacks tape fasteners related equipment
- The ability to work on an inserter attached to the top or back of a press
Additional Information :
**CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT**
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $15.00- $17.34 / hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon but not limited to: education skills experience proficiency performance shift and addition to base salary depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential call-in and stand-by pay.
