Whats the role about

As a Customs Team Lead youll guide a team of customs professionals ensuring that shipments clear borders efficiently accurately and in full compliance with regulations. Youll be the go-to expert leading by example and helping both your team and our clients navigate the ever-evolving world of customs.

Your key responsibilities:

• Leading and mentoring a team of customs professionals providing guidance and support.

• Overseeing the customs clearance process to ensure full compliance with laws and regulations.

• Managing workloads and allocating tasks effectively to meet deadlines.

• Working closely with clients and stakeholders addressing any customs-related issues.

• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.

• Providing training to enhance team expertise.

• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.

• Creating a positive inclusive and high-performing team culture.

Who are we looking for

• A background in customs logistics or supply chain management.

• At least two years of leadership experience in a customs-related role.

• Strong knowledge of customs regulations trade compliance and security laws.

• A proven ability to lead teams and achieve results.

• Excellent communication skills to build strong client and stakeholder relationships.

• Problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.

• Fluency in Dutch and English.
