About the area
The Western Australian Centre for Road Safety Research was established in 2019 as a joint initiative of UWA and the WA Government Road Safety Commission to innovate and conduct strategic research to advance road safety in WA. Our vision is to see the elimination of the predictable and preventable crash fatalities and serious injuries occurring on our roads. Our research spans all pillars of the safe road system: safe roads and roadsides safe vehicles safe speeds safe road users and post-crash safety.
