Job Summary
As a Sr. Data Scientist on the AIML Evaluation team you will be a technical leader responsible for ensuring data quality and privacy compliance across Apple Intelligence Siri and other critical products. You will design monitoring systems that validate data meets Apples rigorous privacy standards while enabling teams to measure and improve product quality at scale. This role requires both analytical rigor and robust engineering candidates will need to have a passion for user privacy and superb communication skills with an ability to influence at all levels of the organization from junior engineers to Sr. Directors and SVPs. Creative problem solving analytical and deductive reasoning skills are critical for this position. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and a complex cross-functional environment requiring relentless collaboration and laser focus on outcomes.
- 7 years of industry experience in Data Science Data Engineering or Data Analytics
- Experience leading strategic technical projects with multiple stakeholders and directing work of other engineers and/or data scientists or as a technical lead
- Strong collaboration communication interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to solve complex problems independently
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL with experience in data manipulation processing and analytics pipelines
- Demonstrated commitment to user privacy and understanding of data privacy principles
- Experience designing or implementing privacy-preserving data practices compliance monitoring or data governance systems
- Masters in a technical or quantitative field such as Statistics Biostatistics Computer Science Machine Learning Operations Research Mathematics or 10 years of industry experience with demonstrated technical leadership
