ABOUT SUPPLY CHAIN AT ROCKET LAB

Rocket Labs Supply Chain team is responsible for the flow of all materials products and components through the business. With many of our own products functioning as critical components to our own and our customers missions. The Supply Chain team has a direct impact on the success of our rocket and satellite programs. They are the chain that links our teams together and are critical to our success.

WHAT YOULL GET TO DO:

As a Logistics and Inventory Assistant you will handle parts and raw materials right from the point that they enter our Warkworth Composites Complex through to their storage in Inventory and eventual issuance to the work centres that require them. You will work together with teams across the globe to ensure that completed components are prepared for export in a timely and accurate fashion. We are looking for an organised team player who likes to be on their feet someone that takes pride in their work is versatile and able to lend a hand to meet tight deadlines.

Days of work:Monday- Friday (Standard business hours)

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOULL HAVE:

Essential Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a stores environment handling both inwards and outwards goods.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure inventory accuracy and timely delivery of components.
  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proven experience working under pressure and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive and proactive working attitude supporting internal teams and contributing to shared goals.
  • A team player mindset with excellent communication skills to build strong working relationships.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Hands-on experience with integrated ERP systems.
  • Experience within the manufacturing automotive or aviation industries.
  • Experience operating a forklift and a valid forklift license
