We are seeking self-motivated and reliable Access Control / Data Technicians for special installation and structured cabling projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing troubleshooting and repairing low-voltage and structured cabling systems in a variety of environments.
This position offers long-term employment with competitive pay and an excellent benefits package. Candidates should be comfortable working independently traveling as needed and supporting various low-voltage system installations.
Responsibilities:

Install troubleshoot and maintain structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure.

Run low-voltage cabling in commercial environments including drilling and limited conduit work.

Install cable support structures such as j-hooks racks and innerduct.
-
Ensure cables are neatly dressed tied and labeled according to industry and safety standards.
-
Conduct testing to ensure proper operation of installed systems.
-
Troubleshoot and repair network and cabling issues.
-
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
-
Maintain a professional and safety-focused work environment.
Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a Data or Low Voltage Cable Technician.
-
Experience with Access Control CCTV Voice and Data Cabling preferred.
-
Ability to read blueprints site maps and wiring diagrams.
-
Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours including day night or weekend shifts as required.
-
Strong understanding of cabling infrastructure and color code standards.
-
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights using boom or scissor lifts.
-
Experience with conduit installation is a plus.
-
Must possess basic telecommunication tools PPE and reliable transportation.
-
Proficient in using smartphones computers email spreadsheets and Microsoft Office applications.

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in the last three years).
