Qualifications:
COLLECTIONS & DISTRIBUTION OPERATOR-IN-TRAINING - MUNICIPAL WATER SERVICES
1. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED issued from an approved GED Administrator.
2. Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Class E Drivers License.
3. Level II Water Distribution license 4 years after employment.
4. Class C Florida Water & Pollution Control Operators Association (FW&PCOA) Collection Technician certification within one year of employment.
5. Depending on company needs must be willing to obtain State of Florida Class A Restricted Drivers License with tanker endorsement.
Responsibilities:
As a Distribution & Collection Technician youll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services uninterrupted. This is accomplished by evaluating repairs following through on inquiries and communicating fluently with customers and management. Other duties include changing and replacing water meters; repairing water leaks; maintaining supplies and inventory; utilizing heavy construction equipment; maintaining equipment; inputting data into work orders; and performing regular vehicle checks In addition oversee reconnection of water service and disconnection of water service at customer sites. The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to provide excellent customer service strong communication skills ability to respond professionally to difficult or stressful situations and teamwork skills.
