Currently accepting applications for a full time Childcare Director / Daycare Director. Leader must have early childhood and supervisory experience to lead our dynamic team of early childhood and therapy professionals. Preference for experience with preschool children with special needs special education speech therapy PT and OT.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all program operations and ensure that they support the philosophy of the organization
- Recruit orient supervise train and develop the team. Ensure a positive team atmosphere.
- Develop and regularly monitor systems to ensure all quality assurance practices; regulatory agency requirements; timely and comprehensive child and family intake; meeting concerns and needs of participating families.
The skills the candidate must possess for success in this position are excellent written and oral communication skills customer-focused attitude ability to multitask and have a proven track record managing a childcare center or preschool knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills successful background implementing organizational policies and procedures in a facility and demonstrate success in a leadership role in the implementation of quality initiatives. The ideal candidate also has knowledge of preschool and childcare licensing regulations.
Education & Experience Baseline Requirements:
- The Director of the program holds a Bachelors degree including or in addition to 12 credits in Early Childhood Child Development or related field AND one year full time teaching experience in a child day care center family or group day care home or other early childhood program AND one year of experience supervising staff.
OR
- An associates degree in Early Childhood or related field with a plan of study leading to a Bachelors degree AND 2 years full time teaching experience in a child day care center family or group family day care home or other early childhood program AND 2 years of experience supervising staff.
Salary depending on experience and degree. $60000-$64480
