Job Title: Scoop Machine Driver

Location: Gilroy CA

Schedule: Must be open to ALL Shifts

Pay Rate: $22/HR

Position Summary

The Scoop Driver is responsible for maintaining and continuously feeding the garlic production lines using a front-end loader. This role requires strict adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) specifications regulatory expectations and company policies.

This position does not have fixed hours and may require shift work or schedule flexibility based on production demands or special circumstances.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Accurately document and perform pre-shift inspections of the front-end loader.
Safely transport raw garlic material from curing bays to processing equipment using FIFO (First In First Out) procedures.
Clean curing bays as needed.
Safely refuel the loader with diesel before the end of each shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Position Requirements

Successful completion and certification for operating heavy equipment (forklift and front-end loader).
Good attendance safety and work record.
12 years of experience operating material handling vehicles preferred but not required.
Ability to use a two-way radio.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work all shifts including overtime or days off as needed.
Ability to read write and complete required documentation in English.
Ability to pass a Trailer Test.
