Clarify doubts on technical specifications through conference calls with Customer/End User as required
Align Customer and Project specifications with Industry standards and product/factory capabilities; prepare exception lists and addendums as necessary.
Facilitate with factory right from quote stage to ensure the project requirements are taken care and LT is offered properly.
Produce formal quotations for customers based on best Emerson solution utilizing price books or quotations from intercompany factories or 3rd party suppliers.
Follow-up with customers to ensure that the quote has been received answer any technical/commercial clarifications and identify when an order may be placed.
Ensure resultant purchase orders are clean and in line with quotation and agreed terms and conditions.
Supports Price Agreement offer preparation as and when required.
Ensure sales finance legal policies and procedure are met.
Ensure factory support as necessary by frequent communication & coordination
Manage and periodically assess team workload to optimize resource utilization
Participate in calls with WA functional manager to provide team updates
Evaluate team training needs and ensure team has the right tools process and knowledge to function effectively
Represent the team and actively participate in WA process improvement initiatives
Be a mentor to the team and focus on their growth and development
Run the performance management process for the team and provide clear and objective feedback
Be a part of technical recruitment panel
Maintain records of all work done.
You have good technical knowledge and can review customer datasheet and provide optimal solutions and costing that benefit both parties. You have a passion for learning about different products and also value winning projects through quickly and significantly act in constantly evolving unexpected situations. You are able to balance the needs of the team and vision of the organization. Bachelors degree in Engineering
Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal
Overall experience of 8 years. Atleast 2 years of experience in managing an Inside Sales team
6 years of industry work experience in Inside Sales
Experience in managing teams that have matrix reporting
Knowledge of pressure relief valvesregulators ASME and API standards
Familiar with Major End users in MEA region such as Aramco ADNOC QP QG Shell BP Exxon Mobil KOC KNPC PDO etc and their Standards & Specifications will be an added advantage.
Speaking French & Arabic & Portuguese & Spanish will be an added advantage.
