Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the technical service team in terms of installation trouble-shooting preventive and corrective maintenance of machines at hospital.
  • Develop and direct implementation of plans to achieve service goals that support the objective of the business served.
  • Develop constructive relationship with each business served and ensure such relationship exist throughout the technical services organization. Troubleshoots problems and develop bridge-building solutions that improve these relationships.
  • Manage technical service support to distributors in the region and maintain high level service level to end customers.
  • Ensures the effective management of expenses time and inventory to ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Ensure provision of effective formal training as well as development of professional skills and behaviors for subordinates.
  • Work with internal and external resources to resolve problem of high complexity.
  • Exerts considerable influence on technical services objectives and long-range goals.
  • Understand customer issues and work with the businesses to resolve problems with product procedures and policies driving change where necessary to resolve these issues.
  • Constantly analyzes changing business and customer needs and plans organizational or system changes to address these changes.
  • Develop and effectively manage systems with a high degree of responsiveness and flexibility to meet the service and information needs of customers and management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 7-8 years of experience managing directing and planning of field service in a medical device company.
  • Familiar with Malaysian Standard MS2058-2009.
  • Team player with positive work attitude.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and good communication skills.
  • Willing to travel frequently within Malaysia.
