About the Opportunity
Were looking for a Checkout Operator to join our Campbells Preston team on a casual basis. This customer-facing role is responsible for delivering friendly and efficient checkout service ensuring accurate transactions and a positive shopping experience.
In this Role
Operate checkout register and process transactions accurately
Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
Handle cash EFTPOS and other payment methods securely
Assist with bagging and packing customer purchases
Monitor stock levels at checkout and replenish as needed
Support store team with general duties when required
Follow all safety and operational procedures
Youre Likely a Match If
Have experience in retail or customer service (checkout/cashier experience preferred)
Are friendly approachable and customer-focused
Are reliable punctual and safety-conscious
Can work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Are adaptable flexible and self-motivated
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay close attention to detail and take initiative
Are available for flexible shifts including weekends
