The University of Denvers College of Professional Studies PSC is a leader in adult education providing fully accredited and affordable educational experiences specifically designed for busy adults since 1938. PSC offers over 100 academic degree and certificate programs that enroll nearly 3000 students from around the world and over 7000 learners enroll each year in PSC non-credit programs.

Position Summary

The Associate Director of Enrollment Experience leads strategic transformation of student enrollment operations through advanced AI integration comprehensive team leadership and innovative multi-channel communication strategies. This role combines supervision of enrollment teams with strategic oversight of institutional texting strategies and daily operations support for the Guild Education partnership. Working at the intersection of enrollment management artificial intelligence and partnership development this position drives exceptional student experiences while optimizing recruitment and retention outcomes across all programs and delivery modalities. This position reports to the Director of Enrollment Experience and works collaboratively with senior leadership across the College of Professional Studies. The role includes direct supervision of enrollment management teams while serving as a strategic partner in institutional planning partnership development and technology innovation initiatives.

Essential Functions

Strategic Leadership & Team Management (40%)

  • Senior Team Leadership: Provide direct supervision professional development and performance management for multiple enrollment teams including Assistant Directors and Enrollment Experience Managers
  • Operational Strategy Development: Lead strategic planning initiatives for enrollment optimization AI implementation and process enhancement across all enrollment functions and partnership programs
  • Resource Management & Budget Oversight: Manage team budgets resource allocation and operational efficiency optimization to maximize enrollment outcomes and partnership ROI
  • Training & Development Leadership: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs on AI tools enrollment best practices leadership development and emerging technologies for all team members

Partnership Operations & Guild Education Management (25%)

  • Guild Partnership Leadership: Support day-to-day operations for Guild Education partnership including performance monitoring relationship optimization and strategic initiative implementation
  • Partnership Analytics & Optimization: Support monitoring and optimizing Guild partnership ROI learner outcomes and employer satisfaction metrics using AI-powered analytics and predictive modeling
  • Cross-Platform Integration: Help ensure seamless integration between Guild systems and institutional enrollment processes while maintaining data integrity and exceptional learner experiences
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders to expand partnership opportunities and optimize existing relationships

Multi-Channel Communication & Texting Strategy (20%)

  • Strategic Communication Architecture: Design and implement comprehensive texting strategies for student recruitment engagement retention and re-engagement across all programs
  • AI-Optimized Messaging Systems: Develop AI-powered personalization strategies for multi-channel communication campaigns optimizing timing content and frequency based on learner behavior analytics
  • Omnichannel Integration Management: Orchestrate integrated communication strategies across SMS email chatbots and digital platforms to create seamless enrollment experiences
  • Compliance & Performance Management: Ensure all communication strategies comply with TCPA regulations and institutional policies while continuously optimizing conversion rates and engagement metrics

Enrollment Innovation & Process Excellence (15%)

  • AI-Enhanced Workflow Development: Assist with design and implement automated workflows that increase operational efficiency and deliver superior student experiences through intelligent automation
  • Predictive Analytics Leadership: Utilize machine learning algorithms and advanced analytics to predict enrollment trends optimize recruitment strategies and enhance retention outcomes
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Lead agile experimentation with emerging AI technologies A/B testing methodologies and rapid iteration based on performance data and market intelligence
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with academic leadership marketing student services and technology teams to align AI-enhanced enrollment initiatives with institutional strategic goals

  • Bachelors degree in higher education business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years of enrollment management student services or related experience with demonstrated success in senior leadership roles and strategic planning
  • 5 years of supervisory experience managing multiple teams and senior staff
  • Masters degree in higher education administration business administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Professional certifications in project management operations or related areas
  • Advanced leadership training or executive management certifications

Working Environment

Salary Grade Number

The salary grade for the position is 11.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $70000 - $80000.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate departmental budget availability internal salary equity considerations and available market information but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
