Job Mission

As the Integrated Strategy Lead (ISL) you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the long-term strategic direction for a designated Disease Area (DA) within Roche Egypt. You will serve as a key strategic orchestrator translating vision into actionable plans driving & inspiring cross-functional collaboration and ensuring the successful realization of outcomes that bring meaningful impact to patients and healthcare systems.

This is a highly influential role that requires both strategic foresight and hands-on leadership to enable teams to deliver excellence across the full disease area lifecycle from insight generation to execution and outcomes measurement.

Your Impact

DA Vision & Strategy Development

  • Inspire and align the POD around a compelling Disease Area (DA) vision that translates global ambition into strategic priorities that meets the Cx and ecosystem needs.

  • Lead the design and evolution of integrated long- and short-term strategies that reflect global commercial and medical priorities LMIC objectives scientific advancements and evolving customer and market dynamics.

  • Oversee the DAs Operating Business Plan (OBP) ensuring clear strategic direction focused execution and mobilization of team efforts toward measurable outcomes and sustained impact.

Strategic Focus & Scenario Planning

  • Drive forward-looking strategic planning processes that integrate both short- and long-term perspectives to anticipate market shifts and emerging opportunities.

  • Assess lead & capture the market opportunities portfolio scenario modeling and market competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions that will help in positioning for the Disease Area.

  • Ensure that Cx & market insights are translated into strategic foresight guiding prioritization resource allocation and trade-off decisions to ensure resilience and a sustainable long term partnership.

  • Build and evaluate business cases conduct trade-off analyses and ensure investment prioritization toward impactful strategically aligned initiatives.

POD Enablement & Orchestration

  • Lead enable and mobilize the cross-functional POD bringing together diverse expertise including Marketing Enablers Medical Enablers Patient Journey Partners (PJPs) Disease Area Partners (DAPs) Business Value Partners (BVPs) Access Enablers and other key functions.

  • Inspire a shared purpose and vision fostering strategic alignment across functions to deliver on the disease areas long-term objectives.

  • Challenge priorities and assumptions constructively to ensure focus on initiatives that drive the greatest patient and business impact.

  • Embed a culture of collaboration and accountability enabling the POD to operate as one integrated team with clear ownership and agility.

  • Influence and empower team members to stay hyper-focused on outcomes realization ensuring execution excellence and measurable strategic progress.

  • Ensure effective collaboration and execution toward prioritized strategic outcomes in line with Roches vision and long-term DA objectives.

Outcomes Realization

  • Guide prioritization and investment decisions by assessing WPs based on strategic value maturity and contribution ensuring that resources and budgets are directed toward initiatives with the highest return on patient and business impact.

  • Mobilize and orchestrate the POD members and cross-functional resources to ensure seamless alignment between the DA strategic vision and on-ground objectives enabling timely and effective delivery of key initiatives.

  • Design and oversee robust governance frameworks for work package (WP) effectiveness as a VACC leader removing barriers ensuring execution discipline and driving sustained progress toward DA outcomes.

  • Curiously challenge the pod members priorities & cx insights to foster a culture of continuous improvement & accountability that is able to drive meaningful measurable impact.

  • Continuously track evaluate and steer WP performance maintaining alignment with strategic objectives and ensuring execution excellence across all prioritized initiatives.

  • Ensure operational clarity and cadence enabling visibility iteration and cross-functional focus to maximize progress toward the long-term DA vision.

License to Operate

  • Ensure integrity compliance and maintain our license to operate in any external engagements partnerships collaborations interfaces decisions negotiations and contracting in Egypt.

  • Ensure that the function proactively engages with internal compliance and legal resources to ensure full compliance before taking action and/or committing Roche to activities externally.

Who You Are

You hold a bachelors degree in Life Sciences or a related health field; holding masters in Health Economics Public Health PharmD or MBA is a strong plus.

You have 7 years of experience in a senior customer-facing role (ie; access sales medical or marketing) and proven track record in leading cross-functional initiatives.

You are able to synthesize & collectively translate diverse market insights & global directions into a clear vision & forward-looking strategies.

- You demonstrate strong analytical mindset and ability to connect systems to navigate business complexity and environment ambiguity.

You inspire and mobilize cross-functional teams toward common goals.
