Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Assistant Head Baker to join our exceptional team of service leaders. This position works under the direction of the Pastry Chef/HeadBaker and will be exposed to a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients

Your Responsibilities:

Embodiesthe standards of Restaurant Brand by displaying professionalism in all forms of communication.
Work to ensure continuous development in quality of guest experience serviceoperational efficiency employeeretention and satisfaction.
Work as a member of the leadership team to achieve company objectives in sales service qualityappearance of facilityand sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive productive working environment.
Ensure consistent thorough and timely communication to subordinates peers managerscustomer and vendors.
Work to train and manage baking staff to ensure consistent delivery of our concepts productand service withinthe standards of budget policies procedures food quality and guest service.
Manage and develop direct reports towards individual growth and quality standardsof excellence.
Workin support of the PastryChef/Head Baker to ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared andserved according to the restaurants portioning cooking and serving standards.

Your Qualifications:

Minimum2-5yearsexperienceworkinginarestaurantorfoodserviceretailestablishmentofsimilarcaliber.
Minimum1yearasbaker.
HighSchoolDiplomaorequivalentlevelofeducation(Mustbeableto addsubtractmultiplyanddivideinallunitsofmeasure)
AssociatesDegreeorequivalentCertificationinCulinaryartswithafocusonPastryArtsandBakingpreferred.
Servsafecertificationrequired.
FoodSafetyHandlercertificationrequired.
