JOB SUMMARY
The Department of Public Administration at California State University San Bernardino located within the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration is seeking to fill a full time tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level. Preferred candidates will have a Ph.D. in Public Administration/Affairs or a closely related field. We seek candidates with a commitment to high impact teaching an active research agenda and a willingness to engage in university and community service. Sub field expertise is open; however we prefer candidates who are able to teach across our MPA core curriculum as well as undergraduate programs including our BA in Public Service. An example of these courses includes introduction to public administration; public management; budgeting and finance; ethical leadership; public policy analysis; and strategic planning. All of our MPA courses are delivered in the evenings using a mix an online synchronous mode (Canvas and Zoom) and asynchronous sections. We also offer core undergraduate classes in person on campus. As California State University-San Bernardino strives to be a connected and engaged community of scholars this position requires a commitment to an on-campus presence.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ph.D. degree in hand by time of appointment.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Public Administration offers an undergraduate degree in Public Service and a NASPAA-accredited MPA degree with concentrations in leadership community planning and management human resource management non-profit management public financial management and cyber security. We also offer a dual MSW-MPA degree and participate in the curriculum of the BA in Administration. The Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration also has six centers of excellence focused on research and community-engaged programming these include: William and Barbara Leonard Transportation Center; the Institute for Public Management and Governance; Center for Cyber and AI; Randall W. Lewis Center for Entrepreneurship; Center for Global Management; and Institute for Applied Research and Policy Analysis.
