About the role:

To lead the process engineering function ensuring efficient safe and cost-effective manufacturing processes for air conditioning products. Responsible for continuous improvement new product integration into production and supporting cross-functional teams in achieving production goals.

Role Responsibilities:

• Design implement and optimize manufacturing processes for HVAC product assembly lines.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) work instructions and process flows.
• Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Collaborate with R&D design and production teams for smooth NPI.
• Support pilot runs and validates new process capabilities for new models or variants.
• Identify and evaluate manufacturing equipment needs process automation and tooling.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Ensure processes comply with quality standards (ISO 9001 ISO 14001 etc.).
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for process-related issues and drive corrective actions.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance for process audits and CAPA.
• Lead initiatives for cycle time reduction labor productivity and energy efficiency.
• Analyze and control manufacturing cost drivers.
• Lead and mentor a team of process engineers and technicians.
• Provide training on process control safety and lean tools.

Role Purpose:

Minimum Requirements:

• 8 to 15 years of total experience with relevant 8years into process engineering role.

Education: BE- Mechanical production Industrial engineering

Preferred Certifications:

Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

Lean Manufacturing Certification

TPM Kaizen or TQM knowledge
