Senior Data Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineerwith strong backend and full-stack expertise to design build and scale enterprise-grade data solutions. This role requiresadvanced SQL proficiency production-level Python development skills and deep AWS experienceto lead a team of highly skilled engineers. You will be responsible for delivering scalable data pipelines high-performing APIs and data-driven applications that power analytics and decision-making across the organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the design and developmentof large-scale production-grade data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes usingPython AWS and Snowflake.
- Build and optimizebackend services APIs and frameworksto enable robust data access and application integration.
- Driveadvanced SQL development(complex queries performance tuning analytical functions) and mentor junior developers on best practices.
- Architect and implementdata models warehousing and governanceframeworks within Snowflake.
- Design and deliverfront-end dashboards and toolsusing React to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Deploy and manage production-grade applications onAWS Elastic Beanstalk ensuring scalability security and high availability.
- ImplementCI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and automation frameworksfor reliable delivery.
- Collaborate closely withcross-functional teams(data science analytics and product) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Ensure all solutions adhere tosecurity compliance and data privacy standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree inComputer Science Data Engineering or related field.
- 58 yearsof professional experience indata engineering backend or full-stack development.
- Proven expertise inadvanced SQL(complex queries optimization windowing stored procedures performance tuning).
- Strong production-level proficiency inPython(beyond ingestion including APIs automation frameworks).
- Hands-on expertise withAWS services(Lambda S3 Glue RDS API Gateway IAM CloudWatch Elastic Beanstalk Airflow CLI).
- Strong experience withSnowflake(data modeling performance optimization governance).
- Proficiency in Data warehouse DBT (Data Build Tool)
- Knowledge ofCI/CD pipelines Git and containerization (Docker).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity withinfrastructure as code(Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Experience withproduction deployments monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Exposure todata analytics and BI platforms(Tableau Power BI).
- Strong leadership skills to mentor and guide developers.
- Proficiency withto build scalable front-end applications
