Job Summary
Heres What You Need
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
- BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
- ACLS within 90 days of hire
- CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire
- 1 year experience as a clinical nurse required.
- 1 year ICU experience strongly preferred.
- NIHSS within 90 days of hire
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assesses the patient
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate
- Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift inter-hospital and while expediting out of hospital transfers.

The ground floor houses a breast imaging center outpatient physical therapy cardiac rehabilitation and an internal medicine residency program.

Work hours:PRN Level III/per diem Day Shift 7a 7p 6 shift/per 6-week schedule with 2 weekend shifts required 1 major and 2 minor holiday shifts required
