Job Summary

Our client is hiring a Warehouse and Operations Leader who will lead the facility fit-out and commissioning then transition to full operational and P&L leadership overseeing all warehouse inventory bonded compliance and team management functions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead fit-out and commissioning of the bonded warehouse (contractors equipment WMS/ERP integration).
Develop SOPs for bulk receiving sampling packing container handling and ancillary services.
Train and manage warehouse staff; build a high-performing team.
Oversee day-to-day operations: receiving inventory by weight/grade/lot blending despatch and weighbridge operations.
Ensure bonded warehouse compliance HSEQ standards and secure chain of custody.
Manage vendors third-party services and customer onboarding.
Drive continuous improvement in throughput loss prevention and operational quality.
Full P&L ownership: budgeting forecasting pricing and commercial operations.

Qualifications

8 12 years in logistics/warehousing with bulk commodity experience.
Proven experience in warehouse fit-out/commissioning with bulk handling equipment and weighbridge integration.
Tertiary qualification in Logistics Engineering Supply Chain or related field.
Knowledge of bonded warehouse/customs procedures and commercial bonded operations.
Desirable: prior bonded warehouse or customs compliance experience; project management certification.

Skills

Inventory management by weight/lot/grade sampling and QA procedures.
Health & Safety expertise for bulk warehouse environments.
Strong vendor management project management and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial acumen with P&L responsibility and pricing experience.
Systems literacy: WMS/ERP for lot/grade/weight tracking; Excel/Power BI.
Excellent leadership problem-solving and communication skills.
