Location: Saranac Lake NY 12983

Duration: 8 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $720 - $880; (Negotiable based on experience)

Shift: 8-hour days with varying schedules:

6:00 AM 2:30 PM
7:00 AM 3:30 PM
8:30 AM 5:00 PM
1:30 PM 10:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will perform blood collection and related procedures with accuracy and professionalism while providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
Properly label handle and transport specimens to the laboratory.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Follow strict infection control and safety procedures.
Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and staff.
Assist with other phlebotomy-related administrative tasks as needed.

Required Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.
Background in science and prior phlebotomy experience.
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills.
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
