Job Summary MRI Technologist (MetroHealth Main Campus)
- Perform general MRI imaging procedures in a Level I Trauma setting.
- Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (3:00pm 3:00am; Saturday Sunday Monday) including rotating holidays.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of MRI technology to produce diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols in a high-acuity medical environment.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare staff as part of the diagnostic imaging team.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment and accessories.
- Document and report scan results accurately in patient records.
- Meet physical requirements: may need to sit stand bend ambulate intermittently and occasionally lift pull or push over 50 lbs.
- Mandatory Qualifications: Minimum 12 months (1 year) experience in MRI imaging.
- Preferred Qualifications: ARRT MRI Registered.
- Required Licenses/Certifications: ARRT certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
