Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Test Specialist to join a long-term digital transformation programme for a leading European agency. The selected candidate will ensure that all changes and developments implemented within the Software Factory environment are correctly tested validated and documented prior to release.
You will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to guarantee the quality reliability and stability of mission-critical IT systems.
Tasks
- Verify all application changes before deployment to production.
- Maintain testing environments of assigned applications.
- Coordinate and supervise User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Report test results and quality status clearly to stakeholders.
- Document test cases and outcomes.
- Ensure alignment of testing processes and standards across Software Factory projects.
- Maintain and improve automated regression test suites.
Requirements
- Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans.
- Hands-on programming skills in Python JavaScript TypeScript or VBS.
- Experience with test automation (Playwright or equivalent tools).
- Ability to create and execute SQL queries.
- Experience testing SharePoint-based applications.
- Strong understanding of test methodologies and SDLC.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
The candidate must hold at least ONE of the following:
- ISTQB Advanced Certification or
- Equivalent international certification (pending validation) or
- More than 3 years of test design experience in addition to the required seniority.
English: Minimum B2 level
