Job Summary:

The Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides social work services in an Emergency Room setting. This role involves acute care experience and collaboration within a Level II Trauma center. The position requires working 3x12 night shifts including weekends and may involve floating within scope to meet facility needs.
Location:Anchorage Alaska United States
Responsibilities:

- Provide social work services in the Emergency Room.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team in an acute care setting.
- Perform duties within the scope of practice for LMSW/LCSW.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Answer phone calls and direct them accordingly.
Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Alaska License as LMSW or LCSW (pending AK license is acceptable).
- Acute care experience.
- ER experience preferred.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Not specified.
Special Considerations:

- 3x12 night shifts.
- Weekend work is required.
- May float within scope to meet facility needs.
- No block scheduling accommodations.
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Traveler can be called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.
