Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care case management and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age frailty and serious illness. This role involves patient assessments medication administration treatment planning and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The position requires on-call availability after hours and on weekends approximately 4 days per month. The role focuses on diagnostic colonoscopy (20% inpatient) and other special procedures (80% outpatient).

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care.
- Perform patient assessments.
- Administer medications.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Perform diagnostic colonoscopies.
- Provide pre and post-care for patients undergoing endoscopy services.
- Handle inpatient and outpatient procedures.
- Participate in on-call duties after hours and on weekends.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
- ACLS certification.
- BCLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of critical care experience.
- 1 year of GI Lab experience.
- Endoscopy experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
Special Considerations:
- On-call required after hours and on weekends (approximately 4 days per month).
- Previous employees of affiliated facilities must be separated for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.
- All Swedish facilities honor active compact licenses.
