Job Summary:
This role is for a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes. The PTA will work under the direction of a physical therapist implementing treatment plans and assisting patients with exercises and activities to improve their mobility and function. The position requires timely communication documentation and the ability to manage a caseload of patients within a designated territory.

Responsibilities:
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a physical therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises functional activities and mobility training.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the supervising therapist.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Maintain effective communication with patients families and the healthcare team.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 4-5 patients per day potentially visiting up to 6 patients.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Washington or compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent skilled PTA experience (within the last 3 years).
- Must have own transportation and car insurance for field work.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with electronic documentation systems.
Special Considerations:
- Traveler is expected to have their own transportation.
- Occasional maximum radius of 100 miles due to territory.
- Documentation tools will be provided and must be returned.
Scheduling:
- 8-hour day shifts.
- No weekend requirement.
- No on-call requirement.
