Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will work in a Labor and Delivery unit responsible for monitoring fetal heart activity and high-risk pregnancies assisting with C-sections and vaginal deliveries. The role involves floating to postpartum if needed and providing couplet care.

Location:Santa Monica California United States

Responsibilities:

- Fetal Heart monitoring
- High-Risk Pregnancy monitoring
- Assisting with C-Sections
- Assisting with Vaginal deliveries
- Postpartum couplet care (newborn and maternal)
- Newborn role in delivery

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM certification
- ACLS certification (AHA)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- NRP certification
- FHM certification

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- Additional AYA certifications

Special Considerations:

- Will float to postpartum if needed
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement

Scheduling:
- Not specified
- Per manager discretion for block scheduling
