Job Summary

CONTRACT: Estimated 1-year contract position to begin with the possibility of an extension or conversion to permanent full-time direct with our client.

PAY RATE: $60.00 to $71.55 per hour on a W-2 through our company. You choose the rate per hour that you want to request from this range.

Embedded Software Engineer (RTOS / C / Linux) position in Orlando FL.

US Citizenship is required for this position

Secret Security Clearance IS NOT required to start but the ability qualify for this clearance is required to apply for this position

1^st Shift working four 10-hour days typically with every Friday off (4/10 Work Schedule)

Work will be 100% onsiteJob description:

Looking for real-time C/C embedded software engineer with at least 5 years of experience related to Linux/Real-time operating system running on multi-core processors.

Candidate must have ability to obtain Secret.

Candidate will work onsite full time at Orlando Florida; 4/10 1st shift.

Required Experience:

- 5 years of C/C embedded real-time object-oriented development with object-oriented development experience using Linux on multi-core processors

- 5 years of hands-on software/firmware/hardware development and integration experience

- 3 years of experience with agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum Kanban) using Git-lab and Bit-bucket.

Desired Skills:

- Working knowledge of C design patterns for embedded software development

- Working knowledge of Yocto operating system

- Familiarity with Data Distribution System (DDS) middle-ware programming experience a plus

- Familiarity with containerized development and deployment

- Familiarity with DevSecOps processes and tools (Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment Automated Testing)

Candidate must have ability to obtain/qualify for a Secret.
