Job Summary
Senior Software Test Engineer (Automation & Manual QE Engineer)
MANDATORY:- Minimum of 4 years of Automation testing.

Key Skills
Automated Testing: Develop and maintain automated test script for web application. Strong expertise in any of the automation tools and framework of Selenium (on Java) Java script-based automation like Playwrite
Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing of software applications including test case design execution and defect tracking to identify defects and ensure software quality.
Microservices Testing: Apply manual testing techniques to test microservices-based architectures ensuring interoperability performance and reliability.
SQL Knowledge: Utilize basic SQL knowledge to validate data integrity and perform database testing as part of the testing process.
Test Scenario Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on business requirements.
Test Execution: Execute automated test scripts and manual test cases analyse test results and identify defects to ensure software quality and reliability.
Defect Tracking: Document and track defects using issue tracking systems (e.g. JIRA) and collaborate with development teams to facilitate resolution.
Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate software changes and enhancements ensuring backward compatibility and stability.
Exploratory Testing: Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects usability issues and edge cases.
Test Documentation: Prepare and maintain test plans test matrices and other testing documentation to support testing activities and compliance requirements.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and quality assurance analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery of high-quality software.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvements and initiatives to enhance testing processes methodologies and tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and quality assurance analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery of high-quality software.
Added Advantage REST service testing using Postman/Swagger
Experience in Jira for task/bug tracking
