Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Cincinnati. This is a contract role with the potential for full-time conversion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in full lifecycle application development and a passion for building high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Participate in full lifecycle application development from concept through delivery and support.
Design code and debug applications using Java and other relevant technologies.
Conduct software analysis code reviews and risk assessments.
Apply Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD) principles.
Develop software models and simulations.
Design intuitive front-end graphical user interfaces.
Perform software testing and ensure quality assurance.
Optimize performance usability and automation of applications.
Maintain and document software functionality.
Integrate new software with existing systems.
Research and evaluate new technologies for potential implementation.
Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
Support localization and globalization of software products.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in Java development and related technologies (5-10 years of experience or more)
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies.
Experience with front-end and back-end development.
Ability to work on-site in Cincinnati 4 days a week.
Must be W2 and eligible to convert to full-time without sponsorship.
