LOCATION: Mesa AZ
PAY RATE: $29-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:

  • Perform bench assembly and installation of mechanical and structural components in accordance with engineering data and manufacturing plans.

  • Execute functional and operational tests of mechanical components and systems; document results per test procedures.

  • Troubleshoot and correct discrepancies using engineering drawings wiring diagrams schematics and authorized technical data.

  • Follow work instructions blueprints and manufacturing documentation to assemble install remove or replace aircraft components and hardware.

  • Maintain a clean safe and compliant work area in adherence with all EHS and tooling requirements.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production and delivery goals.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 4 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational training or Associate degree 2 years related experience).

  • Experience in aviation mechanical and structural assembly with knowledge of production processes composites and structural manufacturing.

  • Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings change memos and test procedures.

  • Proficient with specialized tools such as cornice brakes rivet squeezers metal shears crimpers multimeters and related equipment.

  • Ability to read interpret and apply engineering drawings blueprints and specifications.

  • Knowledge of FOD prevention material handling safety calibration and ESD procedures.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
