Job Summary

TalentBase is seeking an Employer Partnership Manager to lead outreach relationship development and strategic engagement with employers across Kern County and Californias Central Valley. This role focuses on connecting employers with veteran and skilled-talent pipelines through TalentBases workforce initiatives including the Veterans CareerBridge Program.

The Employer Partnership Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with employers industry partners and community organizations. This person will design and execute strategic outreach plans lead partnership meetings both in-person and virtually and ensure exceptional partner satisfaction through proactive customer-obsessed relationship management.

This role requires regular travel (approximately 50%) throughout Kern County and surrounding areas to meet with employers attend events and represent TalentBase at community and workforce development meetings. Familiarity with the Central Valley business community its key industries and regional workforce priorities is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**
Develop and execute an employer engagement strategy to expand partnerships across targeted industries (aerospace logistics energy manufacturing and defense).
Lead and facilitate both in-person and virtual meetings with business leaders chambers and workforce partners.
Manage relationships with employer partners ensuring alignment with their talent needs and program objectives.
Collaborate with internal staff to align outreach strategies with deliverables cohort timelines and program outcomes.
Represent TalentBase at employer events workforce development board meetings and veteran-focused initiatives.
Maintain detailed records of engagement partnership outcomes and progress metrics within the CRM.
Proactively identify opportunities for collaboration improvement and innovation in partnership approaches.


Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Communications or related field (or equivalent experience).
35 years of experience in business development employer engagement recruiting or workforce partnerships.
Strong knowledge of Kern Countys business ecosystem and surrounding Central Valley region.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities stay organized and operate with a proactive self-starter mindset.
Comfortable leading presentations and facilitating meetings both in-person and virtually.
Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
CRM proficiency (HubSpot Salesforce or similar) and strong administrative follow-through.
Veteran status or demonstrated experience supporting military-connected communities preferred.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.
