As a Locum Anesthesiologist you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality anesthetic care in various clinical settings. Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs throughout the surgical process
- Evaluate patients medical histories and physical conditions
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals
- Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Ensure compliance with safety and medical standards
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures
- Participate in continuous education and training programs
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Anesthesiology
- Mid-senior level experience in a clinical anesthesiology setting
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of anesthesia techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Current state medical license and relevant certifications
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care
Schedule: 7a-5p with call 14 on/14 off
Call: 5p-7a
4 ORs
Cases: Bread andbutter GI cardioversions ortho GYN
No pediatrics OB or high-acuity cases
Support Staff: CRNA supervision required
EMR: Cerner AIMS
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
