Job Summary
Engineering Manager
Location:Onshore(US)CandidatemustbeinEST/CSTtimezonesorfullyalignwithESThours Experience: 10 Years
KeyResponsibilities:
- Leadandmentoracross-functionalengineeringteamwithclearownershipaccountability and delivery focus.
- Establishprioritizationandescalationpathstominimize dependencyonseniormanagement and contain issues within the engineering function.
- Overseeplanningexecutionanddeliveryofprojectswithastrongemphasison quality timelines and efficiency.
- Providehands-ontechnicaldirectioninJavaOracle/PL-SQLandsystemarchitecture reviews.
- AlignengineeringexecutionwithstrategicITobjectivesandlong-termtechnology roadmaps.
- ImplementgovernanceforprogresstrackingvisibilityincidentRCAandrelease management (using Jira MoM etc.).
- Driveprocessimprovementstoshiftfocusfromoperationaltaskstostrategic initiatives.
- Managerisksproactivelyandunblockteamstomaintainmomentumanddelivery timelines.
Qualifications:
- 812yearsofexperienceinsoftwaredevelopment withatleast3yearsinengineeringor people management.
- StrongexpertiseinJavaSpringBootand databasearchitecture(Oracle/PL-SQL).
- Proventrackrecordofprojectdeliverytechnicaloversightandarchitecturegovernance.
- Hands-onexperiencewithcloudplatformsCI/CDandDevOpspractices.
- Excellentleadershipcommunicationanddecision-makingskills.
- Experienceinhealthcareorworkingknowledgeofcompliancestandards(HIPAASOC2)is preferred.
