Job Summary

About the role:

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to support the successful execution of Volcon 2026. The event is driven by a group of volunteers from various orgs. This role is critical in ensuring an excellent learning networking experience for the attendees and for fostering a culture of shared ownership for the conference among the volunteer eco-system. This position plays a vital role in advancing Bhumis mission of enabling Every Indian Volunteering.

About the Program:

Volcon is Indias largest conference on Volunteering. This is the 8th edition of Volcon. Volcon brings together 150 participants from Non-profits corporates educational institutions and intermediaries for important discussions workshops and talks on Volunteering in India and across the world.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensure high quality sessions at Volcon by ensuring diverse applications screening by the committees and preparation by the speakers by Dec 2025
Ensure participation of 150-175 participants from the Volunteering eco-system by Jan 15 2026
Ensure all committees are engaged fully and contributing for the conference
Ensure scholarships for the up and coming volunteer managers and volunteer organisations
Ensure expectations of supporters and speakers are met

Educational Qualification/Experience:

Attending any past Volcon would be a distinct advantage
Experience organising any conference summit or similar essential
Experience working with or managing volunteers is essential.
Minimum 2 years experience in project management is preferred.
Applications from freshers are welcome

Knowledge & Skill sets required:

Excellent communication skills- English.
Prompt and consistent interaction with speakers and committee members essential.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and report consistent progress in all of them
Prior experience with volunteer management event organising is an advantage
Comfortable working in a fast-paced time-sensitive goal focussed environment.
