Job Summary

TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a great local firm of Accountants based in Folkestone who are looking for a Senior Practice Accountant to join their team in a general practice position across accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT.

Theyre looking for either a qualified or qualified by experience Senior Practice Accountant to join them in a progressive and rewarding career. You will have lots of autonomy and our client will provide study support as required as well as hybrid and flexible working.

You will be responsible for:

Preparation of statutory accounts
Assisting with management accounts production
Personal tax corporate tax and VAT returns
General bookkeeping duties using Xero or QuickBooks
Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees

Requirements

Senior Practice Accountant Folkestone

You will have 5 years experience within an accountancy practice.
You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
You will have hands on experience of accounts tax and VAT preparation.

Required Skills:

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
