Job Description: Job Summary The Mobility MDM Engineer is responsible for the design deploy-ment and management of mobile device management (MDM) solutions across the enterprise. This role ensures secure compliant and efficient operation of mobile devices including smartphones tablets and laptops supporting both corporate-owned and BYOD environments.
Key Responsibilities Engineering Deployment- Architect and implement MDM solutions using plat-forms like Microsoft Intune JAMF Pro or Workspace ONE.- Manage lifecycle of mobile devices (iOS Android Windows) including provisioning enrolment and decommissioning.- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation tools to streamline device management. Security Compliance- Configure and enforce security policies including encryption conditional access and app whitelisting blacklisting.- Collaborate with IT Security to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).Support Troubleshooting- Provide Tier 23 support for escalated mobile device issues.- Conduct root cause analysis and document resolutions for recur-ring problems. Monitoring Reporting- Monitor device health usage and compliance through dashboards and analytics.- Generate reports on device performance security posture and user activity. Collaboration Enablement- Work closely with infrastructure network and application teams to ensure seamless integration.-
Train end-users and IT staff on mobile device usage poli-cies and troubleshooting. Required Skills Qualifications Technical Expertise- 5 years of experience in MDMUEM environments.- Proficiency in PowerShell Active Directory Azure Services and VPN configurations.- Strong understanding of mobile OS architectures (iOS Android Win-dows).Education Certifications- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.- Preferred certifications Microsoft Certified Mobility and Security CMDSP Comp-TIA Mobility. Soft Skills- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.- Strong communica-tion and interpersonal abilities.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience- Experience managing Apple Business Manager and Android Enterprise environments.- Familiarity with enterprise mobility strategies and remote device solu-tions.- Exposure to Dev SecOps practices and automation frameworks.
