Were looking for a motivated and skilled Baker to join our friendly and hardworking team.

About the Role

As a Baker at Bakers Delight Eltham youll be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods from scratch following Bakers Delights trusted recipes and standards. Youll work early mornings and be part of a close-knit team committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Mixing shaping and baking a wide range of bread and pastry products
Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times
Following food safety hygiene and workplace health & safety standards
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Assisting in training and mentoring junior staff or apprentices
Ensuring consistency and quality across all products

Requirements

Were looking for someone who has:

A Certificate III in Retail Baking (Bread Combined or Cake & Pastry) or equivalent qualification
Minimum 23 years of baking experience (preferably in a commercial or retail bakery)
Strong understanding of dough fermentation mixing and baking processes
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management and attention to detail
A passion for baking and delivering high-quality products
