Licensed Addiction Counselor Opportunity:

Full-time direct-hire position
Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift
No Call or Weekends
Setting: Outpatient Clinic
LAC Counselor will report directly to SUD Clinical and Administrative Supervisor

Licensed Addiction Counselor Responsibilities:

To provide quality treatment education and prevention services in the area of Substance Use Disorders and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services
The Licensed Addiction Counselor will work cooperatively with Utilization Review staff and Treatment Team to ensure authorization is in place to provide services and that specific services are identified on the active treatment plan
The Licensed Addiction Counselor will conduct substance use assessments for and make recommendations to the courts employers schools or other organizations as requested/contracted
Licensed Addiction Counselor will work within the Substance Use Disorder Treatment Team to develop and provide quality treatment for chemically dependent persons and their families

Licensed Addiction Counselor Qualifications:

Masters Degree preferred
Fully licensed LAC LCAC or LMAC in KS required
1 years of Substance Use Disorder Counseling required
1 years of Behavioral Health Clinical Counseling or Case Management experience preferred
