Job Summary
Were looking for a hands-on Operations Assistant Manager to help lead warehouse and logistics operations for a fast-growing logistics company. Youll supervise daily activities mentor associates and drive efficiency accuracy and safety across all warehouse functions.
Requirements
What Youll Do
- Supervise inbound/outbound operations including receiving picking packing and shipping.
- Lead and develop warehouse staff through clear communication training and feedback.
- Monitor KPIs to improve productivity accuracy and on-time performance.
- Conduct inventory audits resolve discrepancies and manage damage control.
- Maintain compliance with company policies safety standards and regulations.
- Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Excel to track and analyze performance.
- Coordinate staffing and workflow with internal teams and agency partners.
- Support new initiatives process improvements and special projects as needed.
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business or related field.
- 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations with supervisory responsibilities.
- Proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership organization and communication skills.
- Experience in multi-shift environments preferred.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume logistics setting.
