Job Summary
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a committed and meticulous Data Entry Support Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. You will support data operations from your home office handling data input verification and maintenance. This remote role allows you to work flexibly while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately input and update data from various sources into internal systems working remotely.
Verify and review data for errors inconsistencies or omissions and take corrective action as needed.
Perform data quality checks and support the maintenance of data integrity in a remote work environment.
Collaborate with team members virtually to ensure timely completion of data tasks and support remote workflows.
Maintain digital records and assist with organizing and storing data files securely while working remotely.
Meet daily or weekly productivity and accuracy targets in the remote setting.
Suggest improvements to remote data entry routines and support initiatives to streamline remote operations.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
Previous experience in data entry administrative support or clerical roles is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy especially when working remotely.
Comfortable working from home in a remote environment with strong time management skills.
Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel) or equivalent software.
Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace suitable for remote work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate virtually.

Required Skills:
Education: Bachelors degree in Geosciences Petroleum Engineering Data Analytics or equivalent experience preferred. Experience: Previous field experience in drilling mud logging or logging-while-drilling (LWD) is strongly preferred. Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret complex drilling and geological data identify anomalies and produce actionable insights. Excellent technical acuity including familiarity with drilling parameters and logging tools (e.g. mud logging units mass spectrometry analyzers) DataLog uses advanced analyzers like the Epsilon DGMS140. Good communication skills: ability to work in a high-pressure remote field environment liaise effectively with rig personnel and logging teams. Physical and logistical readiness: ability to work on remote sites lift and move equipment (e.g. minimum of 50 lbs) and be available for rotational shift schedules. Commitment to safety attention to detail and reliability in field conditions.
