Job Summary

Provides expert level business process guidance on Navy ERPs SAP requirements and design. Designing/configuring business processes in SAP FM to automate the management and external reporting of general ledger accounts receivable accounts payable and cash management; manage posting periods and period end closing; and enable open and integrated data flow between financial account and the other components of the SAP system. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.


Required Skills:

10 or more years of SAP experience. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more functional area/module specifically in Funds Management (FM)

Experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP FM

Bachelors Degree in a recognized technical engineering scientific managerial business or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelors Degree.

Job Duties:

Analyzing configuring and optimizing the SAP FM module to meet customer requirements

Collaborating with stakeholders to understand FM processes

Implementing system enhancements

Ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules

Providing leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel


Preferred Skills:

5 or more years FM experience

Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP

Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures

Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix

Focus on customer service and responsiveness with sound customer handling skills

Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering analysis design development documentation test (unit functional integration regression stress and user acceptance) implementation and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting SAP FM module (in a Tier 2 environment)
